Slow mornings deserve cups like these. Each one is hand-pinched into shape from durable stoneware clay, not thrown on a wheel, but formed slowly, intentionally. The shape is slightly irregular in a way that feels organic, and the pinch-marks feel very tactile in the hand. No two cups are alike, and that’s exactly the point.
These cups are made to be used, not just admired. They feel good in your hands, and somehow make even an everyday coffee feel a little more considered.

Although stoneware is strong, handmade ceramics benefit from gentle handling. Try to avoid sudden shocks, like putting a cold piece into a hot oven, or rinsing with cold water after heating.
Handmade stoneware is dishwasher safe, but handwashing is recommended to protect both glaze and form over time.
Avoid soaking unglazed bases in water for long periods.
The bases of most pieces are lightly sanded, but may still be rougher than factory-made ceramics. To protect delicate surfaces, place them on fabric, cork, or felt pads if needed.
Stack bowls and dishes with care, using a soft cloth in between if you store them tightly.
