Bloom Althaea Bowl
A hand-built ceramic statement piece inspired by a flower in bloom. Its wide, rippling form is shaped slowly by hand, one curve at a time, until it settles into a soft, open gesture.
This stoneware piece is one of a kind and entirely handmade. It works beautifully as a centrepiece, ikebana vase, fruit bowl or simply as a sculptural object in its own right.

Food Safe
The glazes used on this piece are food safe, non-toxic and lead-free.
Bloom Althaea Bowl
Although stoneware is strong, handmade ceramics benefit from gentle handling. Try to avoid sudden shocks, like putting a cold piece into a hot oven, or rinsing with cold water after heating.
Handmade stoneware is dishwasher safe, but handwashing is recommended to protect both glaze and form over time.
Avoid soaking unglazed bases in water for long periods.
The bases of most pieces are lightly sanded, but may still be rougher than factory-made ceramics. To protect delicate surfaces, place them on fabric, cork, or felt pads if needed.
Stack bowls and dishes with care, using a soft cloth in between if you store them tightly.
