SECONDS Textured Vase in White and Blue

Seconds: I used a new clay for this piece which unfortunately turned out to be quite sensitive. There are two very tiny little stress cracks on the inside of the neck which you can see on the last photo, they are only cosmetic imperfections.

A one of a kind textured vessel. It took me over 8 hours to create this beautiful piece. I shaped it slowly by hand, building up the form coil by coil. Then shaped the curves of the petals and carved out the texture. The texture adds a lot of depth to the piece. The inside of the vessel is fully glazed so it can hold water and be used for flowers. But of course it works perfectly as a statement piece on its own.
